Incredible as it seems, it is time for an annual update for the website. A very special hello to our friends, past patients, our past employees, and family members. My welcome is joyful; however, my heart reaches out to the families of our friends and colleagues who have passed during this year.
The Somesan family is changing quickly. Sam has completed high school a year early, with honors. He has elected to attend the University of Indianapolis, to attain a doctorate in physical therapy, with emphasis in exercise science. If he maintains a prescribed academic grade point average throughout his four year undergraduate tenure, he has been granted provisional acceptance to the UIndy's post graduate doctorate program. What a wonderful gift which will require a lot of work to accomplish, inclusive of prayers! Sam has elected to step away from his beloved sport of soccer and allow for additional healing from his ACL tear that occurred last fall. I am very hopeful Sam will continue his love and dedication to playing the piano.
Our daughter, Natalie, married Mr. Kyle Records. They have known each other for fifteen years. Debbie and I are thrilled to have Kyle as our son-in-law. Kyle is a hard working private business owner, and Natalie is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Just recently Natalie and Kyle advised us that we are to be the grandparents of a baby boy, due at the end of November. This was very exciting news, especially since this it our first grandchild!
Debbie is doing great! She has had the opportunity to be away from the office and the business sector for the last year and a half. Although busier than ever, she has dedicated her time to helping Sam with his work schedule, completing his academic curriculum, being a great mom, and having the patience of a saint. She was very busy over the last few months organizing Sam's graduation open house. It was fun and a wonderful party! Debbie and Sam celebrated Sam's birthday and graduation by touring London and Rome with a very quick stop over in Paris.
Richard and Susan, Debbie's parents, are doing well. Both of them are healthy and energetic, as always. They are grandparents who always extent a helping hand unselfishly, and they have an abundance of love for their family. They are truly a treasure.
As for me,.... hmmmm. I am doing well, health-wise. I continue to teach as an adjunct faculty professor at the Indiana University School of Dentistry, and I work part time for the State of Indiana, performing dental duties.
